QiO Technologies is looking for an ambitious Business Development Executive who will be responsible for the planning, development and execution of demand generation to generate leads from both new prospects and existing customers globally, supporting our UK based Director of Sales & Marketing.

The role requires previous experience in the IoT, Industrial and software sector and knowledge across one or multiple vertical industries such as Manufacturing, Aerospace, Steel, Glass, Oil & Gas.


This role is specific to Pune, Maharashtra, India. We would therefore ideally like to see candidates from Pune and commutable areas.

Requirements & Competencies

  • Commercially astute.
  • Development and launch of multichannel campaigns that align messaging to the Industrial clients and their journey.
  • Development and execution of targeted demand generation programs, including nurture builds.
  • Daily campaign performance and optimisation.
  • Industrial B2B marketing and sales.
  • Software as a Service (SaaS).
  • Industry 4.0/IIoT Analytics.
  • Asset performance, Asset health and Asset service in manufacturing and utility verticals.
  • Existing strong network within the professional services, software industry, operational technology or Industrial.
  • Familiar with concepts and technologies around big data analytics and predictive analytics.
  • Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint).
  • Proficient in creating product, marketing & sales collateral.
  • General demand generation Martech skills.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with CRM lead management tools.
  • Familiarity with the leading digital and social marketing platforms.
  • Familiarity with marketing technology and tools.
  • Spreadsheet applications, including pivot tables and charting.
  • Building and optimising account-based marketing programs.
  • Understanding of customer journey and marketing funnel stages.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering discipline, with a marketing focus.
  • MBA Degree (ideal but not a pre-requisite).
  • Data Science (ideal but not a pre-requisite).
